A Capacitor (C) is a passive electronic component that used to charge and discharge electric field. A basic capacitor will have two conductive plates separated by an insulating material which is termed as dielectric. When we apply voltage across the plates there will be electric field forms across the dielectric material, by this way capacitor stores energy and discharge electric field when there is a way.
This storage is measured in Farads (F) and it can be written as,
here, C is Capacitance, Q is Charge in Coulombs and V is Volts.
