As we know frequency and period calculation can be done easily using simple formula T=1/f or f=1/T but when we working with signals especially with clocks and sine wave we constantly switch between frequency and time period. For clock or timer based components datasheet may have signal details in frequency (Hz) but during testing or calculation we need the period in seconds, milliseconds or microseconds. So here is the simple solution to convert Frequency to Period and also Period to Frequency, it may help you to save time.
Frequency ↔ Period Converter
Common practical conversion table
| Frequency | Period |
|---|---|
| 1 Hz | 1 s |
| 10 Hz | 0.1 s |
| 100 Hz | 10 ms |
| 1 kHz | 1 ms |
| 10 kHz | 100 µs |
| 1 MHz | 1 µs |
