This simple desktop lamp circuit gives enough light during night time work without disturbing others.
Here the circuit constructed with four high brightness white LED, you can add three more LEDs based on your requirement.
Every USB port has four pins as +5V, D-, D+, GND (see more on USB tutorial), hence we can use this DC bias lines to power the desktop lamp circuit.
Would the 1N4007 not be needed as you can’t put the usb in the wrong way around. I presume that what it is for.
